This website is owned and operated by Boxwood Home Interiors. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors home interior products for sale. By accessing or using the website, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Who Can Use Our Website

To use our website and/or purchase our products, you must be at least 16 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. You may not use this website if doing so is prohibited under any law or regulation applicable to you.

When purchasing an item, you agree that:

  1. You are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy; and

  2. You enter into a legally binding contract to purchase the item when you complete the checkout and payment process.

The prices we charge for our products are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change prices at any time and to correct any errors that may inadvertently occur.

Return and Refund Policy

You have the statutory right to cancel your order within 28 days of receiving your goods and to receive a refund, including the cost of standard delivery. If you paid for enhanced delivery (such as express or next-day services), these costs will not be refunded.

If your goods are damaged or faulty, we request that you notify us within 24 hours of receipt to help us resolve the issue quickly. However, your statutory rights allow you up to 30 days from receipt to reject faulty goods for a full refund.

To arrange a return, please email info@boxwoodhomeinteriors.co.uk with proof of purchase (your full name, address, and order number), a description of the damage/fault, and a photo to help us resolve the issue promptly.

 

Returned items must:

  • Be in their original condition and packaging (including the shipping box and protective materials);

  • Be returned at your own cost unless the goods are faulty; and

  • Be securely packaged for safe transit.

 

We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. Please retain your proof of postage until we confirm receipt of the return.

Once received and inspected, we will notify you by email and process your refund (minus any non-refundable upgraded delivery charges) or send a replacement, as agreed. Refunds may take up to 10 working days to appear in your account.

We may, without prior notice, change or discontinue products or services, or create limits on their availability. We may permanently or temporarily suspend access to the website without notice or liability, for any reason.

Warranties & Responsibility for Products

Goods supplied by Boxwood Home Interiors must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. Where a valid claim is made for a defective product, we will repair or replace the item, or if that is not possible within a reasonable time, issue a refund upon return of the product.

This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

TRADE RETURNS POLICY

Scope of Policy
This policy is tailored for our Business Customers (Trade Accounts), recognising the unique requirements of our business transactions.

 

Return Timeframe
- Business customers must notify us of their intent to return products within 7 days of delivery.
- Returned items must be received within 30 days of the original delivery date.

 

Notification and Approval
- Returns require pre-approval by our customer service team. Contact us at info@boxwoodhomeinteriors.co.uk for return initiation.
- Provide a detailed reason for the return and, if applicable, any supporting documents

 

Condition of Returned Products
- Returns are accepted on the condition that the products are returned in perfect condition, including the original packaging with all contents, screws, instructions, etc.
- Products that do not meet these conditions will not be eligible for a refund.
- Take care to return your item safely to ensure it reaches us without damage.
- Please avoid writing on the outer box.

 

Restocking Fee
- A restocking fee of 15% of the item's value will be applied to all returned items.
- This fee covers the costs associated with processing returns and preparing products for resale.

 

Responsibility for Return Costs
- The cost of returning unwanted items is the responsibility of the customer 
as is insuring the goods for transport as we cannot be held responsible for any goods which arrive damaged or that go missing in transit on their way back to our warehouse.

 

Exclusions
- Custom, special order, or made-to-order items are not returnable unless defective.

 

Credit Process
- After satisfactory inspection, a credit note will be issued, minus any applicable restocking fee.

 

Damaged Goods
- Report damaged goods within 48 hours of delivery, with photo evidence.

Exclusions
- Our returns policy does not apply to items that are made to order, customised, or special order.
- Sealed or shrink-wrapped goods that have been opened can only be returned if they are defective and this has been agreed upon via email
